People are always asking me how they can help the kids at Children’s Hospital in Philadelphia. Well, I have a great idea. It’s not actually my idea, but I’m happy to pass it on. And if you like to bowl, this one’s for you!
Miss New Jersey Outstanding Teen, a lovely young lady by the name of Andie Babusik, is holding a Children’s Miracle Network bowling fundraiser next Sunday. Andie will be competing nationally this summer in Orlando. The Outstanding Teen pageant is a sister pageant to the Miss America Organization, who have chosen Children’s Miracle Network to be their platform. Yay for them! so here are all the details:

Date: Sunday, April 11, 2010
Time: 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm
Location: Brunswick Zone in Deptford, NJ
Tickets are $15 per person and include 2 hours of bowling, shoe rental, pizza and soda. Tickets can be purchased in advance or at the door.
Special guest appearance by Fred Baxter, who is a former NFL Tight End with a 12 year career span. Fred attended Auburn University & was drafted by the New York Jets in the 5th round of the ’93 Draft. Fred also played for the Bears and earned the coveted XXXVIII Super Bowl victory playing for the New England Patriots in the 2002-03 Season. Life after football, Fred started the Fred Baxter Foundation in 2000 to empower and support the at-risk youth, families below poverty levels and strongly supports various churches.
