CHORD OVERSTREET returns to “Glee” tonight. What happened? He was not offered a “regular” role on the show but series co-creator RYAN MURPHY said at the time that Chord was welcome to return as a recurring guest star. Chord decided to pursue his music career and had a guest starring role on ABC’s “The Middle,” but he’ll be coming back to “Glee” now, just in time for sectionals. So where’s he been? Working in a strip club, apparently. This season, we’ll also meet his mother and father –his dad is former “Dukes of Hazzard” and “Smallville” star JOHN SCHNEIDER, while his mom is played by “Guiding Light’s” TAYNA CLARK.
