Today is Anita Pointer’s birthday, she’s 64 and still performing with style. Thanks to Anita, The Pointer Sisters had sixteen top-40 hits, with seven of them making the Top-10. In 1974, they even won a Grammy for best country song with “Fairytale”. But their first Top-10 hit is my favorite, and is written by Bruce Springsteen. Do you know what song it is?
