The 1968 animated movie has been restored for DVD release frame-by-frame, instead of using digital software.The new package will have a documentary, behind the scene photographs along with a 16-page booklet and soundtrack. Walt Disney chief, John Lasseter who contributed in the book writes: “As a fan of animation and as a filmmaker, I tip my hat to the artists of Yellow Submarine, whose revolutionary work helped pave to the way for the fantastically diverse world of animation that we all enjoy today.” This must have for Beatles fans will be out May 28th!
