“Saturday Night Live” was very funny this past Saturday night.  The Christmas edition was hosted by a hysterical Martin Short, who was funny from his opening monologue to the end.   Some of the stars who dropped by for this special Christmas “SNL” included Alec Baldwin, (who played Tony Bennett in a very funny skit, with Martin Short as his brother!) Tom Hanks, Kristen Wiig, Jimmy Fallon and Tina Fey. “Saturday Night Live” made a rare departure from its usually funny opening to pay tribute to the children and adults killed at a Connecticut’s Newtown elementary school.
