Philadelphia, Pa (WOGL) -

The Main Line’s most popular music destination is back, this time without “23 East” attached to the title.

Of course, that will be its mailing address, but instead of a rowdy, college age crowd that the location used to bring in, well-known names in the Philadelphia music scene are revamping it into a cutting edge venue that will attract a music loving, adult audience.

The name above the entrance will now say Ardmore Music Hall.

The Delaware County Daily Times reported that club owner Joe Rufo is partnering with Richard Kardon of Point Entertainment and Bryan Dilworth of Bonfire Booking to use their extensive experience in order to turn the venue in an evening attraction that adds to the city’s growing restaurant scene.

Ardmore Music Hall’s doors will open at 8 pm and offer the opportunity for dinner and a show.

Rufo reportedly stated that some of the upgrades to the location include a relocated stage, better seating, a full service kitchen that offers selections beyond bar food, and a wide variety of craft beers.

Sounds pretty good.

With the help of Bonfire Booking, the boys plan on booking three to four shows a week and being the next big draw for Ardmore.

Doors are set to open on September 12th.
