Michael Jackson Tribute Band ‘Who’s Bad’ Coming To Pennsylvania

Michael Jackson performed in Philadelphia on Labor Day weekend 1984, during a two-night residence at JFK Stadium. Although the concert was technically billed as The Jacksons, the King of Pop’s brothers basically served as his backing band, as he performed hits from his solo album’s “Off the Wall” and “Thriller.”

Jackson and his brothers returned several weeks later at the end of September and played two additional shows at JFK. Unbeknownst to anyone at the time, it would be the last series of concerts in Philadelphia that Michael Jackson ever performed.

Although Jackson died in 2009, ‘Who’s Bad?’ the ultimate Michael Jackson tribute band, has been keeping his legacy alive by performing the King Of Pop’s greatest songs all over the world for the last eleven years.

Originally hailing from Chapel Hill, North Carolina, the band has shared the stage with several notable artists, including Aretha Franklin, The Backstreet Boys and Boyz II Men. In the process, they’ve sold out nearly 50 venues in the United Kingdom including a performance at London’s O2 in December of 2010, where Jackson was to finish his live career with a 50-show “This Is It” concert series.

On Saturday, February 7, at 8pm,  ‘Who’s Bad?’  will bring their show to Glenside’s Keswick Theatre, playing hits from Jackson’s storied solo career, as well as songs from his days with the Jackson 5. With a finely tuned stage show along with first-rate musicianship, ‘Who’s Bad?’ is the ultimate music-and-dance driven homage to one of pop’s most memorable and influential artists.
