The incomparable James Taylor is set to bring his legendary show to Philly this summer!
Taylor and his all-star band will perform with special guest Bonnie Raitt at the Wells Fargo Center on Sunday, July 9th. Tickets for the show go on sale Friday, March 10th at 10AM exclusively through WellsFargoCenterPhilly.com, by phone at 1-800-298-4200 or in person at the Wells Fargo Center box office.
The iconic performers had also previously announced four major ballpark performances for the summer, including shows at Washington, DC’s National’s Park, San Francisco’s AT&T Park, Chicago’s Wrigley Field, and Boston’s Fenway Park, where Taylor will be performing for the third year in a row. His show at Wrigley Field will be his second consecutive one at the venue.
With a career spanning more than 40 years, Taylor has sold more than 100 million albums. In 2015, the musician released his first studio album in 13 years titled Before This World. He also received the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the nation’s highest civilian honor, from former President Barack Obama.
Raitt’s career has transcended genres, from Blues to Country, Rock to Pop. The singer/songwriter/guitarist has been named both one of the “100 Greatest Singers of All Time” and one of the “100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time,” a well-deserved honor for the woman who brought us songs such as I Can’t Make You Love Me and Something To Talk About.
This should be an incredible summer show, let us know if you plan to go!
