Legendary Tenor Andrea Bocelli has announced that he will play a special set of concert dates later this year. One of those dates is at the Wells Fargo Center on Friday, December 8th. His last performance with the 65-piece orchestra was on December 12, 2015.
Joined by the Philly POPS, now in their 38th season, Bocelli will perform selections from his Grammy-nominated album Cinema, from the 20th-anniversary release of Romanza, and much more. He will be joined on stage by Heather Headley, soprano Larisa Martinez, and Eugene Kohn.
“In 2015, having the Philly POPS perform with Andrea Bocelli felt like a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and the concert was thrilling,” says Philly POPS President and CEO Frank Giordano via statement. “We’re honored and excited to share the stage with one of the world’s great talents once again.”
