Lindsey Buckingham & Christine McVie To Play Philly Show This June

By: Renee Grant

Two members of iconic rock group Fleetwood Mac, Lindsey Buckingham and Christine McVie, have new music on the way and have announced a tour in support of their joint album, simply titled Lindsey Buckingham/Christine McVie.

The album will be available on June 9th on CD, LP and through all digital and streaming services, and features 10 new tracks from the pair. The first single from the album, In My World, will be available on Friday, April 14th.

“We were exploring a creative process, and the identity of the project took on a life organically,” Buckingham says via press release. “The body of work felt like it was meant to be a duet album. We acknowledged that to each other on many occasions, and said to ourselves, ‘what took us so long?!!’”

McVie adds, “We’ve always written well together, Lindsey and I, and this has just spiraled into something really amazing that we’ve done between us.”

On June 21st, the duo will embark on a special run of U.S. dates, with a stop at the Mann Center on Friday, June 30th with special guests The Wallflowers! Tickets for the show will go on sale Friday, April 21 at 10AM online at Manncenter.org, Ticketmaster.com, by calling 800-745-3000, and at the Mann box office. Presale begins Thursday, April 20th. Use password SUMMER to unlock your tickets here.
