Taken from footage filmed during a 2016 concert in Barcelona, the full 360-degree video will be available through VRTGO, UMG’s virtual reality platform.

“This is the fulfillment of a dream,” Queen guitarist Brian May says of the project. “Through this unique Virtual Reality creation, fans around the world will for the first time be able to experience the excitement and energy of a Queen show in their own homes. Many of you have seen VR, but not VR like THIS!”

The concert is said to be visually stunning, as the viewer can virtually soar over the crowd, and fly through the band’s stage performance. Sound for the virtual concert is just as next level, having been enhanced using stereoscopic 4k with ambisonic audio.

Imagine the rush as you watch Adam Lambert belting out Radio Ga Ga, We Will Rock You, and We Are The Champions, all as if you were there, with a better view than those who actually were!

The concert, titled VR The Champions, will be available for iPhone and Android devices, and via most web browsers. Learn more and play with a virtual trailer here.
