Three months after her separation from husband Wissam Al Mana, it is being reported that Janet Jackson has returned to the U.S. to live. Jackson had been living in London with her husband since their marriage and subsequent split with her six-month-old son Eissa.
While it was believed that Jackson would stay in London and raise her son there, reports suggest that Jackson has returned to Los Angeles to be closer to her family.
A source close to Janet tells ET Online, “Los Angeles has always been home for Janet and she is enjoying having her family so close. It’s especially important to her because she wants her son to have a close relationship with her mother and family. Everyone is so happy to have her back home [in L.A.].”
The 51-yer-old pop icon is also finalizing plans for her upcoming State of the World Tour and is apparently in negotiations for a behind-the-scenes documentary about her tour preparations and her adjustment to motherhood.
Janet’s tour will hopefully appease fans who were upset when she abruptly postponed the much-anticipated tour, at the time telling her fans she was taking the time off as she and Al Mana were planning a family. The tour kicks off on September 7th in Lafayette, LA.
