A stellar set will close out the Invictus Games this September (2017) in Toronto, Canada. The lineup includes Bruce Springsteen, Bryan Adams, Kelly Clarkson, Bachman & Turner, and Coeur de pirate.
The games honor wounded members of the armed services from 17 nations around the world. The event was established by Prince Harry in September of 2014 in London, with the second Games taking place in Orlando in May of 2016.
“At the Invictus Games, it’s not just about the hurdles that competitors experienced during competition, but about overcoming the obstacles that life has presented them,” says Springsteen via statement. “The Games are a remarkable opportunity for brothers and sisters in arms to join forces and demonstrate the true strength of their spirit. It is an absolute honor and privilege to perform for them at the Closing Ceremony as a send-off to a week of competition in Toronto.”
Tickets to the closing ceremony start at $60 and can be purchased through the Invictus Games Toronto 2017 website.
