Stamos will play the title role, first made famous by the late Gene Wilder in the insanely popular 1971 film version of the story. He’ll also sing the iconic song from the film Pure Imagination.

Yankovic will sing the parts of all the Oompa Loompas.

“Willy Wonka is the first movie I ever saw,” Stamos said via statement. “The film was released at a time when you could bring your own popcorn to the movie theater. I filled a whole grocery bag full of popcorn, but never touched it because I was so fascinated with what was going on behind Willy’s eyes. Gene Wilder as Willy was pure magic.”

Playing the part of Charlie will be Stranger Things’ Finn Wolfhard, while Richard Kind of Inside Out will play Grandpa Joe.

Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory in concert at the Hollywood Bowl premieres November 3rd and 4th and features the actors singing songs from Roald Dahl’s book Charlie and the Chocolate Factory as the film plays onscreen. Dancers, effects, special guests, and even scratch-n-sniff golden tickets will all be a part of the family fun event.

Tickets to the event go on sale this Saturday (September 23) at 10AM via Ticketmaster.
